Please note that late collection will be charged at £3.00 per 15 minutes or any part thereof, to cover staff overtime, unless prior arrangements are made with the nursery Manager.

We do ask for a deposit of £100 to be paid on registering your child (unless special offers are available). We ask for this deposit to ensure that parents/carers adhere to our notice period which, if necessary, allows to us to rearrange staff.  This amount will be refunded on your child’s departure from Toddle In, subject to the required notice terms.

Unfortunately, due to the high demand for full time places, although we are able to offer shorter sessions, we do ask that if a part time place of 2 days or less is required, this must be on a short term contract of 3 months. If at the end of these 3 months, the part time place is still available, the contract will be renewed for a further 3 months.

All fees are payable monthly in advance preferably by cheque, card payment (charges may apply) or BACS transfer. Alternative methods of payment may be considered at our discretion. Payments received after the 14th of the month will incur a £20.00 administration fee (unless an alternative payment date is prior arranged with the nursery manager).

Fees for qualifying 2 year old children and 3 and 4-year-old children will also be paid monthly, with the grant amount being deducted from your monthly payment upon receipt of the councils confirmation letter.

A 10% discount is offered for siblings.

When children are absent from nursery for any reason, the appropriate fees must still be paid, again to cover staffing.

We require 4 weeks notice in writing should you wish to reduce the number of hours your child attends or terminate their place at Toddle In.  We will attempt to accommodate any change of hours you require as soon as possible.

Vouchers

Childcare vouchers are a tax efficient way of paying for childcare through your salary. You may at present pay for upto £243 of childcare through salary sacrifice and avoid paying tax and NI on that amount.

We accept ALL childcare vouchers. Ask your employer about salary sacrifice schemes as this is a way of you saving money. These schemes will be closing in the near future.

Tax Free Childcare

Tax Free Childcare has been introduced to replace the voucher schemes. With Tax Free Childcare every £0.80p you pay into a childcare account is supplemented by £0.20p to a maximum value of £2,000 contribution by the Goverment.

There are eligibility criteria mainly both parents have to be working. There are pitfalls too; claiming tax free childcare may effect your tax credits if you claim them!

Government Funded Nursery Hours

Funding Schemes

The government currently runs 3 schemes offering families Government funding for hours in any nursery or pre-school not just pre-schools attached to primary schools.

2 Year Old Funding

Government funding is available for 2 year olds but this funding is “needs” tested and eligibility is determined by our Local Authority. Eligible 2 year olds will be entitled to 15 hours of funding per week for 38 weeks of the year.

3 & 4 Year Old Funding
(Universal Offering)

A child is entitled to claim 3 year old funding from the term after they turn 3. They are entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare for 38 weeks of the year which equates to 570 hours. We are able to “stretch” these hours over the year in various patterns.

Please contact the nursery for more details and availability of these hours.

30 Hours Funded Childcare
(Extended Entitlement for Working Parents)

Where both parents/carers in a family work more than 16 hours a week at above minimum wage then you may be entitled to an additional entitlement on top of the universal entitlement. This extends the number of funded hours to a total of 1,140 hours per year, or 30 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year.

Again, these hours can be stretched over the year in various patterns. .

Eligibility criteria apply and you require an eligibility code to be entitled to the extended entitlement. Please follow the link to the Childcare Choices website to gain a code from HMRC.
