SEND/ Inclusion
As a setting we believe that all children should have the opportunity to learn, develop and achieve at their own pace. We recognise that all children have different learning styles and require varied support to help them achieve.
We aim to raise the aspirations of and expectations for all children with SEND. We provide appropriate support to individual children focusing on ensuring the best outcomes for children.
We liaise with other professionals to ensure we are offering effective provision for all children with special educational needs. Charlotte Goodwin (our named nursery SENDCO) offers advice to staff members to help overcome any difficulties and to achieve outcomes. Charlotte seeks advice and knowledge from other professionals and completes relevant referrals to ensure that the outcomes are appropriate to a child’s individual needs and are achievable.
